This is my first entry for PurplePumpkin. I would have upload this layout much sooner but was held back by Zahra's remark of "Don't you think it's bit bare at the top?" Hmm.....on second thoughts, I knew she was right. Back to the drawing board and I added stamped images of the birds in flight  to fill up the space, but not actually cluttering it.
This photo was of Zahra' at 12 years of age, taken at the Kuala Kubu Baru dam. Her dad decided to use this alternative route on our way back to my in-laws house then. The 'lake' was beautiful and for those who frequented this area before the dam would know the 'losses' incurred. I, for one, miss the river that I once went 'camping' with my sister and her family.
This layout is based on this sketch by Debbie Burns.

The stamped Birds in Flight to cover the 'empty' space

  1. You have pretty birdie stamps, love them. Stamping is one technique I love to fill white space if need be. Like the way you deco the bottom with twine, simply attractive.

  2. Love the stamped birds. Thanks for joining us at Purple Pumpkin this month.

  3. Such a sweet layout! Love how you worked the twine.
Thanks for joining us at Purple Pumpkin!

  4. Such a pretty layout. Love the washer and charm that you have threaded through the twine. Thank-you for playing along at Purple Pumpkin.
