Good evening! A last minute layout put together for this challenge at http://modnoe-hobby.blogspot.my/2015/08/blog-post_24.html. I wanted my daughter to help me create the Stardust background but I received a disapproving note from my dear sister. As luck would have it, my girl had to attend a two-day workshop over the weekend, thus leaving me with no choice but to give it a go. Using the moodboard as a guide, I chose colours that is quite close to the photo. Anyway, this is my first attempt at creating my the stardust background and the approval from my daughter is all I need to know I had done it right.
This photo is of my daughter in the Angel wings taken in Seoul. she was really having so much fun at the Trick eye Museum and this is our (my husband and I) golden opportunity to capture as many of those moments of her.
At the Trick Eye Museum, Seoul Supplies: Bazzil Cardstock (White), Black Gesso, White Gesso, Acrylic Paints, Drywall Tape, American Thickers Cotton, Stars from Kinokuniya, Paper Boutique Stickers Kaisercraft diecut, Burlap, Kaisercraft Flowers, mixed Metal Owl.
I am also entering this layout for this challenge at http://another-freaking-scrappy-challenge.blogspot.ca/2015/09/september-2015-challenge.html. The challenge is about a new beginning, as follows:
Scrap or art journal about beginnings - a new life, new school, new friend, new job, a marriage, a new pastime, a new lease on life, a new resolution - etc.
For me, creating the background was a new beginning. I was actually nervous about starting it but once started, I really enjoyed it.

I'm glad you listened to your dear sister because she knows you can do it! That is such an amazing background and I can see more coming. The starry night scene looks so realistic. Pretty angel too. Great job!
