I am recuperating from an operation but my mind never knew how to rest. This layout is for Stuck? February 1st 2017 challenge at stucksketches following the sketch below.
I wanted to follow the sketch as closely as possible but I end up adding a Journal card on the left corner of my layout. I have decided to journal more with wisps of paint works or artworks whenever necessary.
Here is the Layout.
This photo was taken at YongDu-am (dragon Head Rock), at Jeju Island, South Korea, when we were there in April 2015. Situated to the North of jeju City, Yondu-am was created by strong winds and waves over thousands of years. However, there are plenty of other stories of how it came to be. One legend has it that a Dragon stealing precious Jade from Mt. Halla was shot down by an arrow from the mountain deity. When he fell down on Yondu-am, his body immediately sank into the ocean and his head rapidly froze looking at the sky.
That is the story of my Dragon Head Rock.

The punched strip is really beautiful and definitely your handwritten journal will be treasured forever! Glad that scrapping helps your mind relaxing while recuperating. Have a good day! Hugs xx
