Challenge. Even though the colour orange doesn't appeal to me much, I decided to go ahead and take the challenge to create this simple layout. After putting all the elements together, minimalistic look seem much more appealing.
When Zahra' saw the layout, she asked me what would the Title be. I told her I shall call it 'Citrus', maybe. No, Ibu (that is how she address me), you must call it "Hallabong". "Aunty Mimie (our Korean Tour Leader) keep mentioning it when she was explaining the fruit to us", she said. Come to show she really paid attention to Mimie while I must have been busy taking photos. I did check-up Google to ascertain her word. Thus, the title "Hallabong", a Korean word meaning "The Sweetest Orange". As the name imply, these fruits really have a very sweet taste.
The irony is, these fruit trees can be seen growing along the roads leading to the Natural history Museum of Jeju. Even though the fruits are ripe for picking, no one pick the fruits, no matter how appealing they look. According to Mimie, these fruits are under the Government of Korea's management so no one dares pick the fruit. (Hmm...in my heart I said if this is Malaysia, the trees would have been barren in no time at all). I really admire the mentality of the Koreans for their respect to Government property. Or could it be that severe action will be taken to those who dare to pluck them.
